I did have a look into it, and the easiest thing other than getting driven up by friendly volunteers ( ) would probably be public transport... but luggage might present a problem. There's also a company that charters coaches, but I have no idea how much that would cost. I can get a quote if you want to coach it up.

not bringing a rice cooker sounds like a more sensible option to me...!
a transport quote would b helpful, thank u Eddy!
and since terrigal isnt the middle of nowhere, i assume there are bigger and better shops nearby than we had in avoca, am i correct? cos in that case we wouldnt need to lug so much food up there.
and no, i still havent asked if i can come...but i will....soon...!

im thinking back up plan. if u wanna get driven, fine. but if there arent enough willing drivers, im happy to get a bus. they do let u take luggage on coaches. and we took linen and shat to camps before...its not so bad. and i still havent asked. there is just never an opportune moment...

There is a private coach company for the central coast, but don't you think it'd be a bit much to charter an entire coach for about 10 people? Unless you want to hire a minibus and drive ourselves. But then you need a LR licence... We could always hire a driver...

y is everyone so interested in comfort and living it up?? lol. we're uni students...we can't afford the high life...well, some of can't neway. like, the house is sososo beautiful, and its all gonna b great, and it would b nice to get a lift and everything yeah, but u all sound so incredibly spoilt! i think it would be silly not to consider other transport options in case everyone's parents are too fed up with us to drive. and I wouldn't blame them. sometimes i think we all just need to grow up and start taking some responsibility if we want to be treated as adults. and lets face it, we all rely on our parents far too much, and i feel bad about it. i feel bad that we are always putting our parents out and they do so damn much for us, and i dont think we shoudl just EXPECT to get driven. even though it would be lovely if we did get driven. and that is what i meant all along.

well lol duh i'll live with a coach. i coached/bussed it all over europe/england =) it's just annoying that's all.. and sometimes u gotta deal with really annoying other passengers, eg. noisy skanky teens, or relaly smelly (BO or smoke) people.. .yuck- for about 2 hours?
if we can get a car, i'd love a car. i'll drive myslef if i have to. i just need someone to direct me! (and a car to drive >< lol)

when i asked dad about the holiday today, he suggested that he might maybe b able to drive depending on when it is. tho id rather not bother him. but yeah. i guess driving is the way to go *sigh* i'll give in, lol. it just depends if there r enough willing volunteers.

I suppose we should send round a call for volunteers and see what we get... If worse comes to worse, we'll have to end up taking public transport (which I don't see a huge problem with. It'll make everyone pack properly if we have to carry everything... ) Like I said, I think chartering a coach for ourselves is a bit much. A minibus might be the better option

we leave and return on weekdays, don't we? That's going to pose a significant problem as to getting parents to drive I would say, considering most of them will be working. I doubt my Dad could drive because I assume he would be working. And my mum also works those days. Any bright ideas guys?!
