So the saga has ended, and no one is going to read this post. Also, it's been so long now that I can't even be bothered to type my true feelings on the subject. I need to reread before I remember what they were, I reckon.
Anyway, if anyone else happens to wander into here, feel free to post your point of view.

I cried when dobby died =( That's probably the only death i felt shocked about... the rest happened so quick it wasn't all that exciting... final battle between voldamort and harry wasn't exciting either... and the middle bits got a bit boring... but it was good to see what happened in the end... i guess it kinda did close off dead ends?
I'm trying to do a presentation but keep getting side tracked by the net... so bad...

I was happy that all my unanswered questions were answered. So plot-wise, I was reasonably satisfied.
I cried during the Snape chapter. And I know, since the discussion we had the other night, that some people might find that pathetic, cos it's so fanfiction and whatever. I still cried. I cry when I read books. Especially Harry Potter cos I'm way too emotionally attached. But the part that actually made me cry was when I realised Harry had to die. Cos I think I'd managed to convince myself by that point that he wouldn't die. And it was sad.
But then, the whole part about how Harry died...kind of wondering whether J.K. Rowling meant it to tie in so much with the Bible or not. Although there were a couple of blatant Bible references earlier on...like the quotes in the graveyard. Although I thought it was really strange with the whole being in limbo part with Dumbledore, and it's so like - is this for real?
The ending disappointed me. Although I can't think of an ending that would have satisfied me. I just thought the way it was written was incredibly corny. Fanfiction-esque you might say. It was just way too cheesy. The book was supposed to be about death, and it was about death for the most part if you think about it, but she just couldn't resist her happily ever after ending.

the ending wans't great, but at least it was conclusive. no space for dodgy ripoff sequels or cliffhangers that piss u off. she could've picked better names for all their kids. i wnated malfoy to come and apologise and beg for forgiveness or somethign.. that woudl've bene cool.
i teared up at dobby. i wa slike AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW SNAPE>>>>>>>>>>> POOR SNAPEEEEEEEEEEEEE after i finsihd that snape chapter..zomg!

I think it quite rude that Harry basically names their kids. What about Ginny? I don't think she'd stand for that.
I love Snape. But I don't like that the only reason why he was good was because of Lily.
And I, like Nessa, liked that most of my unanswered questions were answered. And if you read like JKR interviews now that they're all out, there's a tonne of stuff that she's never been able to say before.
I cried when Dudley was saying bye to Harry and that was about it. I've always thought there was more to Dudley. The tea outside his door was so cute.

come to think of it, i cried when dobby died too, and also in the part with dudley saying goodbye. i cry a lot when reading harry potter. i am far too emotionally attached.
and there unfortunately is room for dodgy rip-off sequels if you consider books about the kids...although with no voldemort i'm not sure where you could go with that.

perhaps they'll make voldemort have a son. or something overdone and boring like that.

There's always room for dodgy rip-off sequels, but who would actually read them when you have fanfics at your fingertips, lol.
Nah, Voldemort is totally incapable of procreating. I don't think he's capable of any lust besides the one for power and immortality.

Lol. Cauldron babies. That's something I got out of a fanfic. Instead of test tube babies. He could be like a Frankenstein... but be better than that, since magic seems capable of just about anything.
