Next Friday. Some time after noon I believe. And if you go see it with us, does that mean you'll actually be watching it? Or just doing the other things people do in cinemas?

Isn't it odd that there's no one's opinions of the movie in this thread? A lot of us went to see it... and then the board died.
I thought it was good, but I'm not quite sure if I liked it better than PoA... so I have to watch them both again. Speaking of which, I'll probably go on Tuesday at Macquarie with Abigail at least and maybe Leslie if anyone wants to tag along.

blehhhhhhhh yea the board did die. though i still fill in the calendar. i liked PoA better.. this one just chopped the book up into little pieces.. and i know the book was long, but no excuse to build up big things (eg. quidditch) then let it kinda fizzle out into nothign!

actually, even tho i kno a lot of ppl hated that they cut the world cup so much, i kinda think that was sensible. it isnt that integral to the story...in fact, even in the book i find most of it unnecessary to the plot, tho fun! i thought they did a good job. i think its my fave of the movies...but i dunno...i like PoA too...like Rina sed, more viewing needed!

even if cuttin the world cup was sensible, it was cruel ot hype it up so much.. it didnt' even set the mood for the crazy chaos that came afterwards.. PoA is still my definate fave =)

Here's the thing, I like the World Cup in the book, and think it would have been good in the movie if it was wholly in there. Like, they completely ruined it in the movie. They may as well have just left out the entire thing. I think that would be better than what they did.
And as the movies go, PoA is my fave... even if the book isn't.
