srsly nessa... ever1 is placing too much emphasis on UAI... dun forget... the most important thing is to be happy... if u wanna do sumthing that requires 100 UAI then go for it... but if ur cousre onli requires like 80... then why torture urself??

Dun think CSIRO pay much tho...being the gov and all...same with teaching! Like I always say, I'm gonna end up in some really stressful and low paying job!!!

Working in a lab is really boring... all the routine work....it is better to do something that you can have contact with the general public......

i actually agree wiv sarah, i wouldn't like 2 do research my whole life... it seems a bit tedious!! and it will be hard 2 get good results!

I dun wanna do research..I H8 pracs!!! Hav u eva been on excursion 2 CSIRO They have education officers that take groups of school kids on excursions...it's @ Linfield and it's heaps of fun. I dun reckon I would like potions!!!

CSIRO tours are cool!!!!!!!!! the lindfield one is like 5 mins walk from my house hey, u know in chem how we had those copper water baths... they were like potion cauldrons!

You've neva used them b4? We've used them...in yr 9, i think. They r a bit like potions cauldrons. We even used them in Bio the otha day...<when I nearly set the lab on fire...shhh > Did neone c the career's newsletter 2day? Did neone else READ the career's newsletter 2day? Sum of may actually b INTERSETED cos it has stuff about how much on average certain jobs get paid. And a teacher is definitly NOT the worst - surprisingly. Then again, they DID include lots of unskilled jobs in that list.
